The Healing Garden

Forgiving past hurts, healing from past and current traumas, coping with illness:  all of these types of wounds can be healed in the garden.  Call us to learn about our combination of coaching services and garden design and releasing rituals to help the healing begin.
The Enabling Garden,
or Adaptive Garden

This type of garden is designed for people with limited physical mobility or diminished physical abilities.  It is especially helpful to the elderly.  The idea of the enabling garden is to connect people with the benefits of caring for plants and spending time in nature while making it physically easy to do so.

Garden beds can be raised so as to avoid bending over. Garden paths can be widened to allow for wheelchair access.  Tools are adaptive and readily available.  Benches are strategically placed to allow for resting places.  Smooth walking surfaces allow for help with unsteady balance or gaits.

The Memorial Garden

Creating a special garden to go and connect with loved ones who have passed on is a wonderful way to connect with the essence of that person. Memorial ceremonies and rituals are an integral part of creating the memorial garden and transform loss into a joyful legacy of remembrance.
The Sacred Garden

Creating a sacred space in your garden can be a wonderful way to connect to spirit and deepen your sense of balance and well being.

We can design your garden space based on what you would like to achieve from your sacred garden experience.  Ceremonies and rituals can also be designed to deepen your experience.

Therapeutic Garden Design

We have found that some clients benefit so much from Garden Therapy that they wish to have their own therapeutic garden installed at their own home.

Clients who are interested may wish to avail themselves of my design services.  Some examples of the types of gardens available are listed here, but are only limited by your imagination and your needs.

While I would encourage my clients to do the actual installation work themselves for their garden, some clients are unable to do so, or don't have the time to do so.

In cases such as those, Wood River Farm offers garden installation services to my clients at a discounted rate.

Call the office at (401) 364-7600 to find out more.
The Victory Garden

In tough economic times, an all around garden to sustain food supplies also serves as an outstanding educational opportunity for clients with children. They will learn about sustainable gardening, self-reliance and the cycles of growth and life thru Mother Nature's perfection.
